The Waterworks Players announces auditions for the February production this Sunday and Monday, January 11 and 12 at 7:30 at the theater. The production will consist of two unpublished plays by two local playwrights, performed in Readers’ Theatre style, i.e. scripts will be used, and the audience will be encouraged to imagine the various locales and situations.
Needed for the first play, Yalta by Hampden-Sydney professor Dirk Johnson, are at least seven men and two women. It will play February 13 and 14.
Three men and three women are needed for the second play, Small Doses by Brett Hursey of Longwood University. It will play February 20 and 21.
Auditionees will be asked to read from the scripts.
As usual, backstage volunteers are needed.
